| The
founding editors of J.M. Craig Press are Jeffrey C. Siegel and Michael C. Gottlieb. Both
are experienced forensic consultants who have evaluated hundreds of families involved in
child custody litigation. They have assisted numerous attorneys and judges by providing
reasonable, well-researched and practical information regarding the best interest of
children, as well as their parents. Jeffrey
C. Siegel holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and completed a post-doctoral training
program in forensic psychology before entering private practice in 1981. He has presented
numerous papers to professional organizations and lectured to state and local bar
associations on the topic of forensic psychology and family law. He has published research
in the area of the interaction of psychology and family law and was one of the first to
publish child custody normative data for the MMPI-2, the most widely used psychological
test in custody matters. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Forensic Psychology
and the American Psychological Association, as well as a member of numerous other
professional organizations.
Michael C. Gottlieb, completed his Ph.D. in
counseling psychology and taught at the university level for seven years before entering
private practice, specializing in forensic consultation and family psychology in 1977. He
has presented numerous papers and conducted professional workshops for the psychology and
legal communities. He has published research in the area of ethics, family psychology and
forensic psychology, and serves on the editorial board of five scholarly journals. A
Diplomate of the American Board of Family Psychology and a Fellow of the American
Psychological Association, he was selected in 1996 as the Distinquished Psychologist by
the American Academy of Family Psychology. |
